Kaivalya Editor is a markdown and code editor for Linux: projects, a live preview, tables and formulae edited in their own windows, git, whiteboards and logs. This section is for using it, in four parts:
- First steps — ten minutes with the editor, the first time.
- How-to guides — install it, choose a stylesheet, paste a screenshot, export, change a setting, add a theme, a stylesheet or a template: each task, start to finish.
- User guide — every feature, area by area: what it does, how to use it, its keys, its settings and its limits, with a picture of each part of the window. Beside it, generated from the editor itself: Every setting, Keyboard shortcuts and The / catalogue.
- Understanding the editor — the rules every part keeps, and why there are two previews and two exports.
To work on the editor itself, see the developers’ pages.
